    The people that complain about men weighing in too much will also complain about men not opening up enough or refusing to talk about insecurities. They want others to share vulnerabilities and support vocally but keep criticism and dissent to themselves. Their real annoyance is not how often someone speaks but what they have to say.

    Also, people may call this sealioning but I feel when someone is criticising others on a public platform or where others are in earshot, it’s an open invitation for that person or a member of that group to respond. Expecting that someone should not be able to defend themselves is just absurd. You lose your right to a safe space to vent when you start judging others, so you better be prepared to back it up.

      This is why I do well at work. I see a problem before anyone else says anything.

      I’m learning to not say it to random people or my wife.
