What appr are available that piefed users have generally described as reliable?
Saving the website to your homescreen which makes it a progressive web app. Other than that there arent any yet but soonish we’ll have Thunder forked and useable on piefed
There are no apps yet for PieFed, officially. Although there’s a fork for Thunder that has reportedly been made to work. PieFed is still in beta and there’s a lot we don’t know, like how well it will scale to handle masses of people, and the basic web UI still lacks many basic features such as a Preview option before posting content, but damn is it impressive, in so many ways already having surpassed Lemmy in certain types of usability features:-). See e.g. at https://piefed.social/topics the Categories of Communities feature - now someone can separate e.g. News and Politics from Arts & Crafts, Gaming, or Food, etc.
