I can’t tell if he’s trying to establish a basis for being like “child labor apprenticeship is actually cool and awesome everyone should be doing it” or if hes trying to bait someone in to being like “Why are you towing your kid around everywhere when you’re supposed to be working this is no place for a child etc.” and they’ll try and spin that in to ‘a women shouldn’t be in the workplace if they have children to look after’ or some shit. Can’t decide what the insidious underlying reason could be other than the human shield memes. I suppose it could be all of them at the same time.

Does no one want to make a future Batman? Seems like a win-win.

Remember the ending of ‘The Dead Zone’? I have a stupid feeling it wouldn’t be a career-ender in our reality…

He should ask himself if he personally would find the child shield to be a deterrent. I don’t think he would. Why would he expect the people he is worried about to find the child to be a deterrent? Does he think CEO shooters have more empathy than he does? Perhaps it is just about the optics of the event if something happens?

Fuck the shield. If you really want to hit him, you gotta go for his soft targets. Nothing ever changes until it effects those in power, and the current one in power has enough money to deal with anything… Except the things that money can’t buy.
If someone is pushed to the point that they are willing to commit murder, they likely aren’t terribly concerned about the associates of the victim regardless of age, because every war has casualties. And, if the victim’s suffering is the point, then they wouldn’t be the target at all, and everyone close to the victim that should be worried.

If more Luigi’s figured that out… Well, it’d be interesting to see.
