      The problem is, they are never 100% sure who is behind it. It looks like russia, but the evidence isn’t good, so they can’t say it for sure. What if it’s the Chinese, who make it look like russia? They don’t wanna fall for a false flag. The enemies are too sneaky, but maybe they’ll find out more.

      We don’t like the word “war”, so we just call them military vessels. Totally not warships. Trust me.

        Nah it’s Kriegsschiff. That’s the term the German version of the UNCLOS uses: Any marine vessel operated by any armed force of any state is a warship.

        Whether it’s a Kampfschiff (battleship) or Hilfsschiff (support ship) is another question. Also submarines are boats, not ships, because they have tenders.

        Not to be confused with battleships which aren’t war ships, the coast guard has quite a couple of those.
