re-arranged some stuff the other day, there were no less than 5 toys my cat stuffed under a chest.
She has been enjoying getting her missing ping-pong ball back, however she has been zooming around at 2am with it lolI don’t have a photo of her with her ball, but I MUST always share a photo of my cat whenever I have the chance, so here’s a miscellaneous photo of her being cute:
My dog makes this call at least a dozen times a day. I tried getting him slightly larger balls that won’t roll under the furniture, but he hates them.
Pool noodles under the couch
Pool noodle, rolled up towel, folded up cardboard, pretty much anything will do. It’s the same technique when kids keep losing their toy cars under there.
Is he a small dog? Maybe the slightly larger balls are too big for him to get a good grip on?
If not, maybe get even bigger balls gradually until you either find one he likes that won’t roll under furniture or you’ll be able to brag that you unsuccessfully offered your dog a beach ball or an exercise ball 😁
Medium dog with a small mouth. His Min-Pin brother is a third the size and will happily grab the oversized tennis balls because he’s got the mouth of a tazmanian devil.

Meanwhile cats put their ball under the couch intentionally as a fun game to see you get it for them.
