I can swear that mobile browsers are designed to make it more difficult for you to manage your open tabs
Yeah. I have seen my firefox just give up displaying open tsbs because there were so many
After you open 100, it shows infinity.
Yeah. I got that at some point. Closed all the tabs and now keep about 10 open and close any new ones.
Jpeg? Isn’t that just Japanese pegging porn?
Besides JIF is better (Japanese insect Fuck) some call it GIF(Girls I Fuck) but that isn’t as explicit.
Is this a Gen Z / Gen Alpha thing? My kids never close their tabs. It drives me crazy.
They’ve never had a computer crash from having more than 5 programs open.
Definitely not. People from older gens have been screaming a about it since forever.
The other day I managed to close one of the windows that was full of tabs. Now I need to review and close the hundreds and hundreds on the other still open 2 windows. Soon™. They have been living like that for more than a year.
Gen Z here. I had a pretty shit laptop until I got a Acer Nitro 5 four years ago. I used to have 2 GBs of memory and a Intel Centrino Duo CPU. It was my dad’s old laptop and I have installed Lubuntu 14.04 on it when I was 11 and it was how I got interest in computers
I currently have 24 GBs of memory in my pc but i still can’t open more than 5-6 tabs without freaking out. Number goes down if I have a office program running. There’s just a buzzer in my brain that goes off when my computer reaches 4-5 gb of mem usage. But Firefox on my phone has 153 open tabs rn for some reason

I had like 8 tabs open in Firefox on my phone and it suggested turning on an automatic close tabs feature.
I’m 38, I don’t think I’ve ever closed a tab.
No clue I am early genZ so maybe not what you had in mind but I always close my tabs. At least on PC we all know how bad mobile Browsers are about this.
What if you need to save something for later?
Depends on how much later. An hour or so. I keep it open. More than a day? I’ll just bookmark it
Then you end up with hundreds of bookmarks?
No. I delete the book.ark later.
It is not. Source: am a millennial.
This is so weird. This user no longer exists. I’ve seen this before, specifically on this community. Someone posts a handful of comics then suddenly their account is just gone with nothing in the mod logs.

What’s actually weird is you looking a user’s past posts and searching through
modlogs like you’re some detective instead of just enjoying posted content like
a normal person. Stop thinking you are owed the right to dox people and invade their
privacy - just enjoy posts and content without being nosey!Wow… You need to chill. I literally clicked the user’s profile and it came up with a 404 and I was curious why. Holy shit.
At least the name they chose was accurate.
Tab hoarding might be a legit mental illness.
I disagree, but it’s certainly a symptom of at least a couple of them. ADHD and bipolar disorder come to mind.
Fair enough. I was diagnosed ADD before it was ADHD spectrum, so maybe I’m still traumatized from early browsers and JavaScript and not a ton of RAM. More than few dozen tabs isn’t useful to me I guess.
Whether accumulating tabs is a mental illness or not, I don’t know, but I usually keep about 40 tabs open, organized into groups.
I thought I was a tab hoarder until I found a forum where several people were commenting that they keep over 100, and even over 300 tabs open. One person said they had over a thousand tabs open and was complaining that some tab managers were crashing.
I think you’re in the clear. Hundreds of tabs seems like stacking newspapers in your house. Thousands of tabs is concerning.
You take that back!

Oh my fucking God censor the last panel!
I may be corrupted for seeing it in the first place.
