It's been three years today since Valve released the Steam Deck. Not only has Valve shown how incredible Linux actually can be as a gaming platform, but they really kicked the industry into gear on PC gaming handhelds.

    My kids use it every day. I use it on long trips. But proton changed the whole linux gaming scene. And now there’s rumors of a Steam console (Fremont). I will definately be buying that along with 2 Steam Controllers (gen2).

    feels longer. I know I bought during the first big price decrease about a year in. Feels like I have had it forever.
