The “fight for $15” has gone on so long the liveable wage is well past that. In my relatively low COL state it is $21 an hour according to https://livingwage.mit.edu/

Looks like Florida got it through a ballot measure so the legislators couldn’t mess it up. Looks like they won’t keep their fingers out of it for long though. They are talking about adding more exceptions.
And they’re mad that there even is a federal minimum because they want to go lower
