To be fair, teachers sneakily telling people’s children at school that they might be trans is something to be very concerned about.

I don’t even think this is a right-vs-left issue, but common sense.

Yes. Fear the clandestine teachers turning your children into the gay. /s

It’s tragic that the teacher has to have that conversation with the kid to show them that it’s okay to be themselves because the kid feels that their parents won’t support them or will outright abandon them. Ironic that there’s no love more conditional than the love of a conservative Christian.

Has this ever happened to a nefarious degree? Because I was once “sneakily” told by a teacher I was gay even though I was saying something else. But she knew. She didn’t turn me gay–I already knew. And she was an outstanding teacher, too.

Hasbro said they’d make it “genderless” naming it “Potato Head” and just provide parts so the kids playing with the toys can choose what attachments to put on in order to make it look more like a “Mr,” “Ms,” or just some mix of both.

Apparently it would only be an addition to the existing Mr and Ms line, so it wouldn’t even be replacing them.

Conservatives then went on a tirade online complaining that the left was trying to destroy traditional family roles and indoctrinate the children by preventing them from learning the valuable lesson of family from the Potato Head toys.

No, this isn’t satire, they actually got mad over this.

Please don’t think of the children. Please.

Sure, if you live in La La Land. But if you live in reality, thinking of the children is a must.

        What’s there to think about?

Yeah, children should be in their proper place: coal mines. Smaller workers mean smaller holes. Smaller holes mean smaller effects on the environment. Checkmate, lib.
