I love Antonio Carlos Jobim’s album “Wave”. It really gives me those cafe/coffee shop vibes every time
super smooth, thank you! Reminds me of some of the accompaniment from Astrud Gilberto’s albums. If you like this you should try Pink Martini as well. I also have a Hotel Delphino playlist that this is getting added to.
There’s definitely something to be said for music that works not only as foreground-listening music but also as background music. Although it can be hard to carry on a conversation when a particularly tasty lick hits your ear…
I always dug Carmen McRae Sings Monk for this kind of scene. She’s just so damn cool!
