The year is 2037. Monster Hunter Tree Storm releases. The game is a static PNG that wiggles menacingly. It makes $8 billion dollars.
I’m guessing people preordered it to get these numbers. An obviously buggy game slips through the cracks again.
You guys have to stop falling for this shit
I’ll never pay $70 for a game. Still waiting on Dragons Dogma 2 to go on sale. Even if it’s the same with inflation, why would I pay that for an unpolished product that still nickel and dimes me?
Same the game i really want i get at around 40-50% sale otherwise i’m a really patient gamer.
If you use steam dragon dogma 2 is around 35$ on fanatical
Games have been $70 for so long dude. I remember getting Mario party 64 for like $75.why do people act like this is so recent?
Also dragons dlgma 2 was like $40 a few months ago.
Console Gamers I reckon. Monster Hunter World was the same way, a “huge success” despite being an undercooked mess.
Won’t be me.
What a weird take. And I don’t even like MH games
Recently a gamer news magazine reported that they cannot reccomend the game to anyone due to bad performance and gamebreaking bugs. Just like the World launch which sparked protests over Capcoms 0 refund ever policy.
You’re right. “A gamer news magazine” said it so that’s all there is to say.
Also I didn’t say the games haven’t had their share of major and minor issues. I just don’t understand the console gamer blame. The games sell millions of units on Steam alone.
Listen, theyve got a history of producing shit, journalists are telling you its shit, and I’m giving you my own past experience of dealing with their shit.
If you’re skeptical of it in fact being shit then I didnt ask.
With SteamDB estimating 2.6 - 3.27 million players on Steam it actually looks like PC is at least the second largest if not the largest platform.
Yikes, those poor PC gamers are in for a shock.
Also, Japan. My understanding is that everyone and their shiba inu plays MonHun in Japan.
