It sure would be ironic if TSMC decided to move the factory to Mexico or Canada.
Canada and Mexico will be great.
Semiconductor production takes massive amounts of electricity. Quebec, Ontario, and BC produce a ton of cheap hydro power.
And we (Canada) have a lot of excellent talent!
I think either would be great, but to really piss him off choose Mexico.
Ask Trump to say thank you. Do not move your production to US. Move to the EU instead.
No deal with Trump has ever been secure. The only thing he is the king of is reneging on deals.
Anyone who actually wants a payment from trump needs 100% payment upfront, otherwise you’re just getting a small fraction of the agreed upon deal, if anything.
