From Christopher Nolan to Steve McQueen, here are five filmmakers who could direct the next James Bond movie for Amazon MGM.

He won’t cause he’s too wrapped up in DC but I think James Gunn would make a good Bond movie.

“I don’t care about the next james bond, he kills for country, queen and God.”

    Nobody. Don’t make it.

Write an original idea instead of a checklist of properties to mass regurgitate.

Agreed. The last Bond film put a pin in the character. Unless they want to go the route of “James Bond is a title, not a person” there’s no path forward.

Well obviously if/when the next one gets made it needs to be a reboot, like Casino Royale was

Yes, I personally would like to see an Amazon show that’s a faithful period adaptation of each book.

Moonraker, in terms of the book, was kind of a travesty. I get it, Star Wars had just come out, but still…

At this point, why not Uwe Boll? Now that Amazon bought the rights, it really doesn’t matter anymore.

The original “Casino Royale” was a comedy so they could get away with it again.

          Cool. Never heard about that.

As you probably knew, I was referring to the David Niven/Peter Sellers movie, but I’ll have to check out that show sometime. Thanks.

Yeah, the very first adaptation was for television in the 50s.
