He won’t cause he’s too wrapped up in DC but I think James Gunn would make a good Bond movie.

Agreed. The last Bond film put a pin in the character. Unless they want to go the route of “James Bond is a title, not a person” there’s no path forward.

Yeah, the very first adaptation was for television in the 50s.
