I thought the whole country was being privately sold to Russia later this year.
That’s the plan!
Regulations that would identify a company as Russian-owned are being relaxed. There’s really no good reason for such a move unless you know it will make me shady shit easier to pull off.

Cybersecurity is as important to national defense as the military is. And while they won’t mess with the military, all they want to do is cut things they don’t understand. They knee-jerk react to things (“transgender mice!”) and act as though they are making things better. Better through Chaos?
