I have a ton of respect for Rob for this. I’ve been to his show couple of times so i’m not surprised that his fans reacted this way. Also it’s a but hypocritical for the fans to condemn baby metal considering one of the songs he plays on tour is “shake your ass, smoke some grass” which is way more pop than metal and they eat that shit up.

“What you doing besides being a grumpy old fuck?”

    Rob Zombie nailed it.

I saw Rob Zombie live at Ozzfest '99! Between songs he stopped to point out some hecklers with signs in the front row. He thanked them for paying $250 each to sit in the front row at his concert just to call him a sellout lol

Just checked out some of their music. It’s going on my playlist for sure.

Some Baby Metal songs are absolute bangers to be fair… Karate and Magitsune are catchy as heck and go surprisingly hard in places. They’re incredibly talented musicians too. Their guitarist was absolutely god-tier… The Metal Galaxy tour live version of Kagerou has some awesome solos from each band member during the inteo, which really illustrate how talented they each are as musicians.

Yeah, I’d say interesting is the correct word for that one! Though even that song has some really good guitar work.

Honestly this comment from Rob got Babymetal on my listen list and I’m glad. They have a great style hook and deliver on substance.

Yeah definitely good every once in a while and have there albums in my library. Gets a bit much after a while though so I have a hard time listening for the length of an entire album
