    Nuclear fusion is becoming a reality with recent runs increasingly outputting more energy than input. It’s not a scientific discovery, but it is a great technological advance.

    I don’t know what beats unlimited green energy, so that’s my top one.

      Modern fusion research is definitely neat. Any idea what the Q value was for that last JET test? The article didn’t say.
