I still love her, though.

Infuriating?? That’s adorable!! One day you might really appreciate that finger in that shot when you think back on your mum.

That’s a great point. I appreciate all of the blurry pictures from my late mother-in-law.

Think of the thumb as a little ghost of your mum. Making her part of the photo and the moment.

My mom’s phone is full of videos of her saying “oh shit” because she meant to take a photo. I really need to make a backup of those for when she’s gone.

Do it!!! I had 1 recording of my moms voice on her iPhone. Then someone stole the phone. I wish so badly that I could hear her voice, it’s been 10yrs and I’ve forgotten what she sounded like.

My dad practices the guitar every morning. Has since he was in the army.

I’ve been recording him on the sly, for morbid reasons.

The day will come that you cherish those photos more than the rest combined.

You could remove that in post.

Surely I can do that, but I was still mildly infuriated.

Oh yeah I get that. I just meant that the pictures are salvageable!

Use stable diffusion generative fill via Google colab to fix it for free and probably spend the next few weeks using it for hours and hours. Enjoy.

Those are super easy to fix. Even the Google eraser could fix those easily.

That used to be mildly infuriating for me but I’ve been playing with a few photo AI tools and that stuff is easy to fix

Snapseed as well as a plethora of free photo apps can erase those but keep these originals as is for memory
