It’s not just a moral crisis, it’s also an environmental and economic crises. Corporate greed is destroying the planet and our society.
100%! I think most people see these strikes as just a way to get higher wages from corporations thus tying it to an economic issue but fail to see the larger picture on the fight against corporate greed. It is resulting in irreparable damage to the planet and significantly lowering quality of life.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt adopted the moral argument of the Social Gospel when he declared that “no business which depends for existence on paying less than living wages to its workers has any right to continue in this country.”
