Love this story. The class were due a poetry test but weren’t prepared. The teacher wouldn’t defer until one student, Fay’d, offered to record one of the poems as a song. The class got their test deferred and we got an old Irish poem modernised as this fresh and catchy tune.

Really it is. I remember rote-learning it in school. Never thought for a second that the syllables would work so well for a song, let alone a modern one.
