She was started late, grown outdoors & I grudgingly had to chop her early. She’s the only plant I’ve grown that had jet black leaves, and the contrast with the bright green buds was just neat.

Thanks! I’ve been growing since 2019 I believe, though that’s only amounted to a handful of grows

Nice! Must be fun to see the whole process end to end! How did you get started?

One of my neighbors got me into smoking and then growing - a Vietnam vet who had been guerilla growing since the 70’s, so he had a lot of experience to share. RIP Growbro 😔

She is a descendant of the first random bag seed I ended up with - some variety of cookies but I’m not sure which (though I suspect Nightmare Cookies)

Hell yeah, Nightmare Cookies is a fitting name.

Yeah since it’s a 50/50 shot between that or GSC, I prefer to believe it’s the former if for no other reason than because it’s a better story lol

I’m a believer. Would love to see pics when she’s cured!

This is actually from my last grow, she’s been smoked lmao. I think I have pics somewhere from when I was trimming her after cure though

Here she is a little younger before she went completely black

After cure but before trimming sugar leaf

The dramatic colors were mostly the bigger leaves, so once she was trimmed down a bit you wouldn’t even guess she was anything special (aside from her amazing smell of Captain Crunchberries)

Very cool, thank you for sharing the journey and pics. I’d smoke that!
