I know the rules says no medical advice, I’ll do my own research and followups (and see a doc soon) but it’s not possible at the moment hence the question for my own peace of mind:
I’ve been having some kind of muscle ache on my neck and right side rhomboid (upper back) for months now, it was particularly bad today. and suddenly I noticed I’m experiencing some kind of weakness in my left arm, specifically when using my index finger.
Anyone experienced this before or have any leads I can look into? (I’ve already searched and found a myriad of spinal and muscle related issues with symptoms but it doesn’t seem to match)
Carpel tunnel syndrome will do that but it usually starts at the wrist.
I’ve been to a doctor and physical therapy for carpel tunnel and a bit of tennis elbow.
You have muscle ache for MONTHS and you will see a doctor SOON? WTF? Why are you waiting?
More seriously. See a Dr or physio.
For myself a deep muscle ache: I’d look at muscle imbalances. As in some too tight or too weak. Posture. What I’ve been doing so day: hunched at the computer. Or Nerd neck from phone use. Stretching and exercises is where I’d start.
But seek a medical opinion. They can hopefully rule out bad stuff, and get you on a path to improved.
