You can make the term a binary, but binary doesn’t really exist in the real world. Your DNA is part duck just by nature of being a vertebrate.
Binary absolutely exists “in the real world”.
I believe that every arbitrarily descriptive line can be crossed by dissecting the nature of the things on either side of the line.
