So I’m able to mark all my inbox items as read, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do that to an individual message. In the webview there’s a checkmark I can click, but don’t see anything like that in Jerboa.
EDIT: Solved, it turns out you need to long press the little section that contains the username rather than the whole text. Which makes it harder to interact with longer comments for some reason. I might see if there’s already a big filed for it.
FYI wrong community, this is supposed to be like askreddit.
That’s what I originally thought, but then saw a ton of ‘support’ like questions. I guess they were lost too.
Hit the tick mark, top
leftright of the screen.Strike through doesn’t work for me. Notyou corrected me.
For some reason my tick mark is in the top right of the screen to mark them as read.
Yes, of course it is! Why I said left I’ll never know. Thanks for pointing it out.
If you look down at the bottom next to the link, reply, etc buttons, there should be one button that almost looks like the reply button, but with a little blue dot at the bottom right corner of the “speech bubble” looking icon, click that.
Edit: Grey bubble, dot in top right corner*
Turns blue with a checkmark in bottom left once clicked.
Long press on the item and the details row will appear. I believe it’s the 4th item from the left to mark an individual message as read.
There’s a little speech-bubble-with-dot icon under each item. Not a very intuitive icon but the function is there.
Click this
Long press on the text to open up the menu items. It’s a bit janky right now, but things are improving :)
Ok I finally figured this out. So you don’t press on the text like I was trying to do. You long press the section that has the username. Now I finally see the menu!
It’s the chat bubble icon without the ellipses inside.
