If you save often, you might have multiple gigs of Baldur’s Gate 3 decisions weighing down your primary PC drive.

There should be a max size for steam. I dont remember what it was but I know I easily reached it when I played Skyrim. But Steam didnt warn me so I almost lost most of my saves when I switched computers. Maybe thats what happening here too? Anyway, I have turned off cloud saves and rely on my file history backup to not have to deal with a full steam sync.

From what I could tell is each company has a set limit so they all are different.

Maybe Baldur’s Gate 3 was such a big hit for Steam they may be giving the game a lot of save space.

        Not sure.

My steam cloud for baldur’s gate 3 shows 2.51 GB/ 16.12 GB available That’s 3 character saves and one of those characters is multiplayer (so more custom characters)

If you find the save game folder you can just delete all your old saves. I had one character at the end of act 1 where the very first quicksave still existed, and every one in between.

Hopefully Larian include a setting to start rotating back through quicksave slots after x number. I don’t need an archive of more than 15 or 20 old saves really.

They already rotate out old quick saves. Pretty sure in the options menu you can set just how many auto/quick saves you want.
