The 17 Air is actually rumored to be the smallest in the lineup at around 6.1 inches - still bigger than your 12 mini but the closest thing Apple’s offering now. Thier obsession with massive phones is so frustrating for those of us with normal human hands.
You just know that battery is gonna suck, and that it will be overpriced.

Well, modern smartphones don’t even deserve a mention in the news. Guaranteed these models aren’t gonna make a difference in the experience compared to using the previous or previous previous versions.
I miss when phone releases ment something. New colors and spec bumps are all we get now.
My last upgrade was XS Max to 16 pro max. Got a 120hz screen, tons of storage space, USB-C, and an insane camera upgrade (especially for cat pics in low light.)
I’ll prolly have this phone for 5-6 years like I had my XS Max for!
I’m waiting for the EU battery requirements to go into full effect to get a new phone. Want something that can be easily user replaced without having to entrust a phone to a repair shop or warming up the adhesive to open the phone up.
Maybe a Fairphone if you’re located in the EU? Depending on your requirements.
It’ll be twice as fast as the old model, which will somehow make absolutely no difference to your web browsing and Balatro habit.
