Split up Portuguese modern crossover thrash band is playing dress-up as Municipal Waste! Same style, bottle o’ beer, slice of pizza - everything down to a T. Now a couple months ago, I would have completely written this band off while scoffing, but after coming around on MW, I don’t find myself being irrationally angry at this borrowing of sound and style. In fact, I wish they hadn’t split up as I would’ve liked to see where else they could have gone with it! Oh well.

Can’t help but they sound suspiciously like D.R.I. to me.
Haven’t gotten through their discography just yet, apart from the few posted here, but I can hear it. MW is no doubt inspired by D.R.I. even indirectly if they don’t outright admit it.
