Trump admin tried twice to force Russian deal onto Ukraine…
They are trying for a third time with a bit of better PR but the bones of the de are the same: ukraine must surrender.
US keep hoping ukraine capabilities are degraded enough and they are working to ensure that ukraine doesn’t get enough of anything. So in 1-2 years ukraine will have to accept this deal or worse.
Pretty sure Putin doesn’t have another couple years in the tank. Especially if Europe can put pressure on China and India.
