First of all loving the app and can’t wait to see it in the App Store later this month! It already looks and feels great! Says someone coming from Apollo.
Here is a list of my suggestions:
- Add search feature either in top or footer
- Add true dark (black) mode when running system darkmode
- At overview of posts the upvote on left hand doesn’t work. Isn’t it possible to include the working up/downvotes on left hand side instead of right
- When opening a post the top bar with total upvotes, total comments and when posted (eg 4 days ago) seems unnecessary as far as first two since you can see these again below the post and there you can actually press the upvote button. It would make sense to move the posted date there
- Upvote/downvote on comments don’t work instead when I press the comment collapses which seems incorrect behavior
- See an overview of all my posts in “profile” and be able to see them easily
- See an overview of all my comments in profile and be able to see them easily
- Make use of iPad layout by adding columns / scale images to 2/3 screen if source allows it
- Make footer customizable
- Sort comments by best, new, old
- Add translation option

- I think you’re asking for a left handed mode here. The redesign has been designed with the idea of certain elements being flipped to accomodate for next handed users. Some elements are neutral by being in the middle as well.
- This is just a remnant during the implementation of the redesign and is not indicative of the final product.

- This is planned to be implemented soon, the view has already been mocked up.
- Again, redesign.
- iPad layout would require practically a full redesign to accomodate the screen size. I’ve considered iPad support but at the moment it’s definitely not a priority.
- Maybe later, but probably not soon.

- Redesign mostly uses iconography to make it easy for a universal audience to understand. Localisation might be difficult in some parts, particularly onboarding. We’ll see what we can do.

I just noticed there is almost completely true dark mode (black not brown/grey) on my iPhone but somehow not on my iPad running both Apple standard scheduled dark mode.

Search for specific content and also search for communities. Unless I missed it, I can see what communities I’m subscribed to, but can’t find new ones without setting the view to all and seeing what communities show up.
Thank you @Teflocarbon and others for answering my feedback points. Great to see Search has already been implemented and a basic overview (not yet clickable) is now visible in profile area. I also found out that there is a swipe feature to like/dislike a comment.
Hope to also see these things being added as mentioned below the original post. Especially the ones I marked in bold.
