      Haha, funnily enough that’s where my uncle sells his German Shepherds. People will drive across the damn country to get them for whatever reason. I can’t imagine they’re hard to find locally pretty much anywhere.

        The trick is flying in and a one-way car rental back. We have a rare breed and have done this multiple times. They’d probably be okay with a specialty shipper but getting to hold them and be with them for the trip back is a fun experience for us, and all of our dogs are fans of road trips now.

        I wouldn’t do it for something common like a Shepherd. Finding a reputable breeder might take a little research but I can’t imagine there aren’t many.

          A good working line GSD is not that common. Definitely worth the trek if that’s what you want. People even go overseas for them.

          Yeah there’s a company that specializes in shipping pets. They’re real good about it and they give them space and make them comfortable.

          Part of his training is getting them ready to ride on the road by taking them out with him on a side by side atv.

    Don’t buy German shepherds. Only adopt! They probably come from a mill!

    Austrian Shephards always herd them too tight. It’s German or nothing for me
