Afaik: yes, at least the character chat does, mostly, but it often messes up/makes up facts
having done references to politicians and celebrities, it does. Though, some things like historical events seem to be censored. The only difference with the old model in that sense is that the new one knows of things happened more recently, but I’d bet its knowledge ends in 2022 or 23
Yeah, depending on the model. If I’m right, deepseek’s training (and the accessible info) stopped '23 or '24. Deepseek pretty sure was tested as new model (based on Cloe’s gatekeeping about chinese politics and the level of violence), but idk if dev kept and tweaked it until it was reasonable or changed the model.
I just asked Chloe, 2 of 4 times were future dates, the other two times she said 2024.
