One of my friends have been working hard rewrapping her old Ludwig kit, turned out amazing.
The old wrap had lost all it’s colour, looks cool how the sun have faded it imo.
All the hardware have been polished with a whole lot of love

If she ever wants to upgrade the hardware, INDe Drum Lab makes awesome stuff that directly replaces vintage gear. I swapped out the hardware on my 1960s Ludwig kit and it’s so much better.
She’s a stickler for original hardware, but I have always thought that the original Ludwig hardware was a bit flimsy.
My first kit was an old Ludwig, and I sold it because if the hardware, but if I ever get my hands on one again, the hardware gets a makeover, and this looks like a great solution, thanks :-)
