I know Tears of the Kingdom is finally out, but that was my final reason that pushed me to purchase BOTW and its great!

Buddy, enjoy it. Explore, take your time. Look in every nook and cranny. Delve into the YouTube theories etc and just immerse yourself in it but don’t rush. TOTK will be there when you’re good and ready, but it is such an upgrade that you may find it difficult to go BACK to BOTW. So, enjoy it!

Best part of them being single player is they’ll always be there when you’re ready, no rush necessary. I’m jealous youre getting to experience it all now, wish I could wipe my memory and do it all again.

Yeah, try not to worry about the story too much, and don’t rush through it. Explore the world, immerse yourself in it and enjoy.

That being said, everyone has a different play style and preferences, so don’t worry too much about “how you should play BOTW”, play it how you like it.

My approach to BotW was pretty much climb high thing, scout for anything that looks interesting, mark it on my map, and then go explore.

Pretty much anything that looks even a little interesting will have something for you to do or find.

pretty much my strategy too! At least the BOTW seems fun to explore unlike HL where I spent most of my time climbing endless stairs

It’s phenomenal. In a totally different class than other Zelda games, which were all excellent themselves.
