The Aussies have a ton of fabulous owls that other places don’t get, but they have no quirky little Athene genus owls like the Burrow or Little to can their own.
Their next door neighbors, the Kiwis, did import some of these Little Owls from Germany in the early 1900s, so they have them there now.
Neatly camouflaged!
It can just sit down quick if someone comes by and then it’s just another rock 🦉↔️🪨
