Feel like I’m the only guy hyped for this. Switch is a great platform for some Metal Gear.
Wish there was some info on whether or not a physical version is getting released though.
Yeah, I was looking forward to get it on PS5 when it was announced, but now that it’s coming to Switch, that seems like the best place to play it!
This year has seen some fantastic releases and it keeps on giving. I’ve got a switch but will be getting this for my SD.
My favorite franchise of all time.
This is honestly one of the greatest announcements in any Direct ever for me.
As someone that has played the PS Vita version, I always wanted to experience Snake Eater on the go, but with a full button layout.
This is gonna be a Day One purchase for me, Snake Eater is in my personal TOP 3 of the best games I’ve ever played.
Can’t overstate how psyched I am for this T_T
That price though… I’d rather be able to buy them individually as I am only interested in the first title
But the titles are going to be available individually, they said so in the Direct.
Thanks for the heads up, seems like I missed that!
Mgs has come up for me a few times in the past few weeks and I had been thinking of doing a replay, so now I’ll probably just wait and get it here.
I have all of these on vita so will have to pass. But it’d be great if not.
Yeah, they are available on PS3 and Vita, but no modern system. So, good for those who don’t have it.
Oh man… I was going to pick this up on PS5, but it sounds like I’m going to have grab it on the Switch instead unless they end up doing something wonky with the graphics on the Switch.
Anyone have guesses to what Vol. 2 will have? Obviously it’s missing MGS 4/Ground Zeroes/5, but also the PSP games. I suppose it could just be all of these in one additional volume but that would mean they finally figured out porting MGS 4. And the name still being called Vol. 1 for Switch instead of Switch Edition or something like that sort of implies that they have plans to try to port GZ and 5 over.
Would be very cool if that was the case! Unless they’re cloud versions.
Maybe the twin snakes also? Seeing that was only ever released on the Gamecube.
