Fair enough. I’d just expect you’d get a lot of glare and it would also heat the phone more than necessary. But you do you.

This appears to be a charging stand? Glare isn’t a problem when you’re not using it.

Literally anywhere on the nightstand is illuminated, unless you propose not using a lamp in the room?
