“Jim Wampler, author of Mutant Crawl Classics, Scientific Barbarian, and more, as well as a well-known artist, has designed and made free for use a “This product is free of AI” badge. It’s free to use by everyone, and is a nice-looking design. I’ve noticed an uptick in AI-generated art and text in the past six or so months, and I think it’s a great thing for the indie and small press community to have this. Let’s see what’s new in the gaming front!”

Please don’t flame me for asking this - I genuinely haven’t really thought about this before and am curious to hear opinions.
For folks who would put this on their product / use this in a purchasing decision, are they doing it because they have a philosophical view against AI in RPG products? Or is it more of a “No Preservatives” label that folks see as an indication of high quality?
I thought it was a no preservatives thing. The idea was to certify that you aren’t trying to sneak ai art and pass it off as normal human art.
At least that was my take away.
I think it’s more like “this product contains art that someone laughed, cried and swore over”.
In B4 someone gets an art a.i. Tool to mimic it stamp it.
Mmm, Ureo adventures for parties level 2-4…
