1 oz mezcal

1 oz reposado tequila

1 oz lime juice

3/4 oz Chinola passion fruit liqueur

3 slices of cucumber & a squirt of agave syrup

Ginger beer (I used 1 oz ginger syrup 3 oz fizzy water)

Muddle cucumber with agave, add mezcal, tequila, Chinola, lime, shake with ice. Strain thrice, mix in ginger beer, pour over fresh ice.

Not sure where this comes from - it appears in several sites without attribution, just like this but 1.5oz mezcal no tequila.

It’s really good but not sure it needs the cucumber, I might try one more change next time and use some Cynar instead?

You know I don’t usually go for food coms but this one might get me. Or does fediverse have an equivalent of r/salsasnobs?

    Man that looks good

Well, welcome! I’ve not found any salsa community but if you start one I will join, I am definitely a salsa snob, lol.

And yes this was a delicious drink.

Looks good. I am not sure how you would use the Cynar in this, but would love your thoughts. I personally would just swap the cucumber for a tajin rim.

Well I tried it - my thinking was that the Cynar has a vegetal flavor, and I know it works well with mezcal.

      I did like it better.

      Tajin rim sounds great too.
