I have such kids as well. I’m like “Bitch, I just want to cut the grass here” but they’re like “No, our teacher told us that’s bad for the grass. You have to walk around”

My mom didn’t make my cousins use the wii strap while playing Just Dance one time, so when I came home one day I had the wonderful suprise of seeing a broken TV screen
Never happened to me or anyone around me. I used to wonder how people even managed to fling them right into the TV, like… are you even holding it properly at that point? But then I figured it’d have to be just kids doing that. Kids, or drunk people.
There’s probably a very large correlation between not using safety devices and not holding the thing properly.
I will use the strap even when holding the remote sideways.

Obviously, just play your Wii exclusively on your massive retro 39" CRT television, the one with front glass that’s like 4" thick.
In my household, the TV breaks your controller. Not the other way around.
And why should I?
The safety… For what? So the surroundings are protected? Weak. Life is about taking risks, and I will NOT be shackled to conformity like so many others.
