A French magistrate has said two Trump administration emissaries approached her seeking to lobby against an election ban on the French far-right leader Marine Le Pen.

Magali Lafourcade, the secretary general of France’s human rights commission (CNCDH), an independent body that advises the government, told Agence France-Presse (AFP) she had reported the content of the meeting to the French foreign ministry immediately, fearing a potential “manipulation of the public debate in France”.

And maybe worse: how warped must their minds be to assume that Le Pen’s arrest was for political reasons and ask for leverage to start-up a disinfo campaign in France?!

      It’s just beyond twisted crazy.

I genuinely believ they don’t care. Trump knows he’s guilty in the Epstein file, but he still assumes he doesn’t deserve any prosecution because of his own personal exceptionalism. Same is tmue for the ICE agent who shot Goode: “total immunity” said Vance.

Same is probably true for Lepen in his eyes: she’s an ally. To project a view he expressed in the past: she could shoot someone on the Champs-Élysée and not lose their support.
