Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is skeptical about many things the Trump administration is saying about de-escalating its immigration crackdown in his state.
“I know who I’m dealing with. I know that they’re not going to keep their word,” Walz tells NPR.

That’s weird. Like, 2 days ago, he was saying how he had such a nice conversation with Tom Homan. That they seemed to be on the same page.
He said the platitudes that needed to be said. Did you watch his remarks? He said a lot without words too.
He’s in a terrible situation. A madman is terrorizing his state, doing everything possible to incite an incident. Walz does not want to have a civil war start in his state. Now, many may disagree with preventing such an incident, and I can understand that, but I also understand the shit sandwich he’s being forced to eat.
I’m angry at the perpetrators not the victims.
Sir this is a Trump’s America. Victim-blaming is our most treasured past time.
