      I think if anyone sits down and makes time to create any sort of art it is quite the opposite of lazy.

      This collage isn’t just random magazine clippings glued to white paper, it is meticulous and well thought out. It is arranged in an eye pleasing manner and has great juxtaposition.

      Just because something has fewer parts or pre-made parts as a medium, in no way denotes laziness.

      Rothko painted squares, Mondrian painted lines, Warhol literally screen printed the same thing over and over and over - would you call those lazy as well?

      I think it would be helpful to look beyond the medium of the particular piece you are viewing and try to think of how the artist arrived at the result, because I’m sure it wasn’t just “I’ma a glue this building in the sky today”
