what a coincidence 2 black punk bands had their music refused release around the same time…right?
There isn’t really anything of a conspiracy about that. Pure Hells manager was Curtis Knight (a black r&b singer), and he was the one who withheld the recordings, because he was a monumental asshole, who also infamously ripped off Jimi Hendrix.
