I’ve been saving this reference for when I felt confident enough to tackle it. That day is today. But I had to make my own brush (for the first time) to get the results I wanted. Thoughts?

If you watch the timelapse you’ll notice I paint a few times then lose my shit and paint again. That was frustration with the brushes I have available to my, then making my own brush, and then painting again.

    Wow… The highlights on the pants are just perfect! And the foreshortening on her stance is just incredible! I can never get my forced angles to look this good, they keep coming out lumpy and misshapen.

      I have that problem all the time! I can’t tell you how many I’ve deleted because of it. This one I was able to get the reference angles luckily.

      And thank you, the highlights on her pants is what drew me to this reference.
