You captured the equipment at a great angle but the clouds make this picture so much more dramatic.

Dramatic clouds are good for almost any photo, I think. Thanks!

We’re in a Jimny and we were sure we could fit too!

I rented a Jimny on a trip to Iceland and loved it. They don’t exist in Canada. What a fun car.

Likewise on several of my motorcycles. I imagine neither of us will have been the only ones to try it, and I’ll bet you plenty of people have failed.

      At least I’m wearing a helmet, right…?

…i won’t say how i know, but i can personally vouch that a lotus elise is lower than the ground clearance beneath an HEB semi-trailer…

How could that be a giveaway? I’m open to it being fake like anything else, but like, rednecks drinking beer on the road while doing something irresponsible and dangerous? That seems pretty on-point to me.

This looks like one of those enemies in armored core 6 that just comes out of rubble and rail gun’s my ass to the next continent ; which is my way of saying “saving picture to design a sick mecha based on it”

What manner of machine is that? I feel like it would only look that much more fitting with walker legs instead of wheels.

In fact, this whole picture gives me some real Simon Stålenhag vibes, if only you and your car had been in frame as well.

Not exactly sure what it does, but it is built like that to drive along rows of corn without damaging the plants.

It’s a high-clearance sprayer, probably a 4940. We have one for grain cropping.

I’m probably wrong but it looks pretty similar to some machines I’ve seen that are used to work vineyards in France, the 50 max speed sticker also fits with Europe.

I wish we could get those in the US. We are sorely lacking in awesome little 4x4’s.

That is a really awesome vehicle!

I didn’t know that it was, so I looked it up:

          https://www.globalsuzuki.com/automobile/lineup/jimny/

I was more and more impressed as I looked through the page. Plus it’s a manual!! I’m sold; too bad I also cannot buy one

Do you happen know their price range?

Edit: I meant new cost. I looked up used ones and it’s about 10k ± 3k for ones from '97

There’s a lot of gnarly ruts on trails around me, I can only dream of such ground clearance!
