I’ve been sort of going through a KMFDM rediscovery as of Trump 2.0 and I can honestly say it’s the best part of his second presidency. Trump is peak MAGAlomaniac. KMFDM has never been more relevant.
There have been a lot of KMFDM post lately. Are we witnessing a revival? I guess the kids just love it!

The “symbols” tour that debuted this song was my favorite KMFDM show, and possibly favorite concert in general. Both KMFDM and Pig just killed it.
I would have loved to see them back then. Symbols is one of my favorite albums.
At the time people kind of hated on it, probably because it was quite a departure from Angst and Nihil which were well received. I always liked it though, I’m glad it seems recognized as one of the good albums now.
I’m a bit younger and fell into KMFDM with WWIII. I was all about butt rock then and it was the perfect album. I remember not caring for anything earlier than Symbols back then. No idea what was wrong with me Nihil and Angst are probably my favorites now and WWIII and Hau Ruck are a bit down in the list.
Angst was my favorite album until the cassette of the Light single got stuck in his car and we listened to it on repeat for about 3 months. I still have a hard time listening to it lmao. After that he got Rock Horror Picture show soundtrack stuck in the player and we decided he was no longer allowed to drive.
