Thanks! In the eyes you see the pure texture of the charcoal, without any blending / smudging.

That’s interesting. I don’t know much yet about working with charcoal properly to achieve some reasonable outcomes. Everytime I tried it out…you know…some basic shapes like spheres or cubes to play around with charcoal…smudging here and there…it doesn’t come out so well. Hmm, but I think everyone began somehow like that, isn’t it…😉.
Oh I still have to scrap a lot of paper until I get something right! And even then I have to pivot and go with happy accidents more often than not :)
