First of all, I want to say I’m happy to see this crochet community on Lemmy, and to get the ball rolling, here’s one of my many WIPs. It uses the Draco Shawl pattern on Ravelry. It’s one of my older WIPs since the beading takes forever.
I’m working on the Drama No Lama (no pictures yet) and this blanket for my godchild!
Currently working on a t-shirt/dress kind of deal. Slightly modified from the “Hawthorne Tee” pattern from Hannah Cross (free pattern on her blog).
Love it! That’s a nice pattern for that color. I’m glad we have a community going here too :) I’m working on a shawl made with yarn my brother’s girlfriend got me for Christmas.
Same! Happy to be here.
I’ve been working on that sleepy bear blanket for almost three months - wait for yarn, crochet, frog, wait for yarn, in an endless cycle. https://www.etsy.com/listing/109409121/sleep-tight-teddy-bear-set-crochet
Also working on this, because i can’t seem to make a hexagon cardi. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/any-yarn-will-do-cardigan
Also working on a shell blanket and a virus blanket.
Oh, that’s going to be lovely when it’s done! I’ve never done any bead work before; that’s got to be a lot of effort.
Right now I’m working on some tiny amigurumi of a friend’s cats for her birthday. I think she’ll like them, but man, I do not love making amigurumi.
That’ll be really pretty when you’re finished!
I’m currently working on an afghan. I don’t have a picture of it, but I’m bad at taking progress pics.
I’m currently making Hagrid from Harry Potter for my daughter. Not sure how to do crazy hair and beard, though.
Cute! For the hair, uou could use strands of eyelash yarn or chenille or something super fuzzy, maybe?
My most active WIP right now is this doll that I am cobbling together based on this piece of Halloween flash (the pool player): I’m currently making a doll sized dress shirt in #10 thread based on a hexagon sweater design and it’s kind of coming together? There’s a lot of free handing happening.
ive been in a state sponsored work rehabilitation program for the past year, and its the last two weeks so im last minute crocheting some farewell gifts for the people working there, who helped and supervised me there. 5 little amigurumis is what the plan is. almsot finished one, two and a half others are 70% done too.
When im done with this, im going to make a miniature electronic tachymeter for a man who taught me a lot while i was doing a two month internship at a surveying company.
After that i really wanna make one of those big mandala looking rugs with tons of varied borderings, and maybe hang it on my wall! I give away 95% of my projects, so it will be nice to finally make something for myself!
