Would love to see some Mariners discussion in Lemmy so I thought I’d ask everyone what they think our chances of making the playoffs are. After a monster month in August it looks like we might be imploding in Sept.

It’s been a bad week. But the wheels aren’t falling off. The pieces that gave us that great run in August are still there, they’re just not coming together. I figure we play .500 ball for the next week, make up some ground against the Angels and A’s, and then we show our stripes in the last two series against the Rangers and Astros. Overall chances I’d say 60% we make the playoffs, but I’m an eternal optimist.
Our bullpen has been a disaster in Sept so far but I’m hopeful we can turn that around. At least the Rangers aren’t playing well right now either
