Im enjoying the move over to Lemmy and Squabbles. Reddit really was frustrating to deal with and I would rather spend my time contributing to smaller communities here than speaking into the cacophonous void over there.
I am too. I still check Reddit occasionally, and probably will do until RIF is gone, but I’m enjoying browsing on Lemmy and find I don’t really miss Reddit
Yeah I don’t miss much at all. I commented earlier that I could not find a replacement for r/reddevils but then i found this community and now I only have a few smaller communities that I used to enjoy being part of. Slowly but surely Ill get out of Reddits orbit.
I’m supposed to go to a wonderful cabin by the sea this weekend. Weather forecast is amazing and we’re a big group of 13-14 people going, fun times guaranteed.
Yesterday I started feeling feverish and other cold symptoms. Today feels better but still have some symptoms. I’m quite sure I’ll feel a lot better if not fully recovered tomorrow, but I don’t know for sure and I don’t want to infect anyone else.
I’m going to try and sleep/rest hoping for a miracle improvement over the next 4-5 hours.

You have to respect the guy for all his comebacks and scrutiny he has dealt with over the years. He also steps up at interviews when certain captains can’t handle the heat. Top guy!
It’s festival and gigging season so that’s a great distraction from the transfer/takeover clickbait. Glastonbury on iplayer and going down to see Blur tomorrow. Should be great craic.

I have an RSS feed on my desktop that sends me notifications any time a reliable journalist posts about United. On my phone I just have Twitter notifications on as I still use Twitter primarily to keep up with my local team. Looking for a better method but it works for now
I’m hoping this community turns out to be like the one on Reddit, or even better.
The aim is to be better. We will focus a lot on this place being less toxic and abusive.

I’ve been getting cashback from my card in crypto and I tried transferring it over to Coinbase so I can convert it to cash today. I found a guide that almost worked except that I’m not able to pay the fee tp transfer the crypto over :(
I’ve been picking up guitar again for the first time in years. It’s surprising how quickly it comes back!
I really keep meaning to as well. I’m just dreading the state of my fingers after the first hour or so!
