There was almost no action but only dialogues and drama and it was glorious 50 minutes. They nailed Mark’s PTSD, and opening scene was much more fleshed out and probable therefore more impactful than in comics. Thragg’s appearance has also vastly benefited from all those additional scenes. Mark’s choice cements him as a full blooded person, rather than just another god superhero.

All Nolan’s scenes were great. He has clearly changed and regrets his choices, but also still selfishly wants forgiveness. He seems not to grasp how much death and suffering has he caused among common people, but at least he is on a good path.

Cecil should have handled that conversation better.

Therapy is anywhere one can administer it. Earth should be the solar systems’ only therapy couch.

But absolute 🫶 my fav. Heroine

Whomever is writing TV’s best Mom of the universe, deserves a bonus.

I don’t think Nolan is selfish in wanting forgiveness. Wanting forgiveness is a natural thing. Look at Mark and how he treats Nolan. I can’t say Mark has forgiven him completely, but he defends Nolan from time to time.

I expect part of next season will involve Debbie and him getting along better. As Nolan said, Debbie wants to forgive, to give him a second chance.

Cecil? He’s pragmatic. He doesn’t have to forgive.

Earth? I don’t know. Especially if the Thragg plan becomes public.

    Diabolical.

Everyone asking if the war is over, looking for the war to be over, can’t it just come to an end!

Thragg: No, and it never will be.
